Clearway Byotech has been long established as a supplier of the best algae removal product on the market. Owned and ran by the owner Steve Hall since the business was established in 2008, Steve has now invited his wife Angela into the business help expand the product range.

As a couple, you may already be familiar with Steve and Angela as they have appeared in a number of the popular Channel 4 series, Escape to the Chateau DIY and Chateau DIY. They spent 18 years renovating their chateau and running holidays including tandem cycling holidays.

Before their Chateau story began, they purchased and renovated a Victorian villa close to Chester. This Villa had a huge walled garden with original glass greenhouse. The garden was filled with established planting and it was here that Angela discovered her love of gardening. Feeling a little overwhelmed by the responsibility of taking on this garden Angela enrolled herself onto an RHS course and began to learn all the nitty gritty about gardening.

They both spent hours in the garden, learning as they went along. Their new found knowledge and increasing love of their garden followed them to the Chateau and now, after 18 years in France, it has come back with them to the UK.

They have now moved into a brand new build Cheshire home which is just about as far as you could get from a French Chateau. The garden was just a patch of ground in January of 2023 and the most important thing on Angela’s “to do list” was to get started on creating a garden to live beside and to love.

After getting professional landscapers in to do the hard landscaping Angela has thrown herself into creating the new garden. Followers on Instagram and Facebook have been watching on with interest and it is partly because of the questions asked and comments made on social media that angela realised there was an appetite for garden arches, plant supports and other decorative items that lead her to speak with Steve about selling these online.

Angela has sourced and carefully selected some beautiful and practical metalwork items that will be a great addition to anyone’s garden or patio area. All the metalwork is hand made in the UK.
